Events

Periodically throughout the year, Donate-A-Pack has fundraising events. These events help us collect money that we use in purchasing gear that is frequently requested but seldom donated like sleeping bags, pads and tents. So join us at any of these events... as a participant or a volunteer.

Backpacker's Swap Meet    (click for information)
This annual event will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The event runs from 8am to Noon in the back parking lot of the San Diego location of Adventure 16 at 4620 Alvarado Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92120.
The Donate-A-Pack Foundation hosts the event and sells refreshments as well as used gear that isn't suitable for gifting.

Radical Reels
Radical Reels is part of the Banff Mountain Film Festival and is held at the San Diego Natural History Museum.

Banff Mountain Film Festival
This event will be held from Saturday, March 16 through Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the San Diego Natural History Museum. We will be selling concessions during intermission and possibly before the movies start. (No food or drink allowed in the actual theater.) The event starts at 7pm.

Donate A Pack will again be hosting a booth at the San Diego EarthWorks' EarthFair in Balboa Park on Sunday, April 21st, 2013. We are in the East Prado area in Space 250, which is across from the Timkin Gallery. This is the same area as last year.
